Compressed stabilized earth block: environmentally sustainable alternative for villages housing

Abstract Construction materials contribute to environmental pollution and the impoverishment of natural raw materials. The villages Upper Egypt were exposed high thermal loads owing their geographical location. Moreover, current building do not comply with principles sustainability adaptation residents these buildings. Therefore, attaining admission one sustainable material in using it as an environmentally compatible, inexpensive, accessible, easy for users blocks is essential. In this study, author selected various sites Egypt, analyzed climate urban data, after that, suggested prototypes many variables measured DesignBuilder V5 computer simulation program select optimal type. Reached that can be saved energy about 40:50% decreased annual discomfort hours more than 50%, finally, discussed community members by a questionnaire on societal acceptance. research concluded compressed stabilized earth block solution applied residential areas reduce deficiencies adaptation.
